PropRGB is a Propeller based driver board for an 8x8xRGB LED matrix
Allows for 24-bit color with video speeds |
Special hardware ID system allows for multiple boards to be
daisy-chained to together. |
Initial pricing is $40 for the driver board and $15 for the
matrix
Priority Mail shipping is $5 via USPS, international
shipping is $13 |

Things you'll need:
A
PropPlug or equivalent device is currently required to program
the onboard Propeller chip. Here's how the PropPlug should be
connected:
A DC power supply. The typical 6 to 9 VDC power supplies
that are used with other Propeller boards will work fine. The
supply should be rated for at least 300 mA as the PropRGB draws
about 400 mA with all LEDs on full. |

PropRGB Demo1: Demonstrates how to use the driver in
either direct or buffered modes to set pixels to any color
PropRGB Serial Interface: Control the PropRGB from a PC
using a PropPlug (or equivalent) connection.
You'll need to tell the program which serial (com) port your
PropRGB is connected to when opening the connection. |
