Crystal is 8 MHz! The demo code uses PLL 16X giving a 128MHz
clock speed! This seems borderline... Some people have found
they have to drop to PLL 8X when using multiple cogs or assembly code.

It appears that the controller IC for the display (the long thin
rectangle mounted directly under the display and connected by flexible
data cable) is the SSD1331 from
